Joshua started his career in education at the Benchmark School in Media, PA. While teaching he became interested in research because of Benchmark’s focus on providing their students with instruction based on sound researched methods. Currently, Josh’s specific research interests are in children’s spontaneous use of argumentation in student-led discussions. More broadly, Joshua is interested in all the ways that argumentation is related to analogical reasoning, conceptual change, and critical thinking in general.
